The Boston Spa Art and Crafts Festival was started in 2009 as one of a number of community events to celebrate the centenary of Boston Spa Village Hall. The success of that first event resulted in the decision to run the Festival as an annual event. A feature of the event is that the artists are present throughout the two days of the Festival. This year will see the ninth annual Boston Spa Art and Crafts Festival. The main aims of the Festival are

to celebrate and promote the sale of art and crafts produced by local artists and craftspeople
to encourage and support the development of young artists and craftspeople in the area
to raise funds for the ongoing programme of improvements to the Boston Spa Village Hall, which is a registered charity

The first eight Festivals have raised over £18,000 for this purpose. Last year the Festival attracted more than 1000 visitors over the two days.

The Boston Spa Art and Craft Festival celebrates the talents and skills of artists and craftspeople in the area. Work exhibited must be original and that of the artist alone from design to finished product. We like to include new exhibitors each year and welcome applications from people who feel they meet our requirements. If you would like to be put on our mailing list and to be considered for the next exhibition, please email art.fest@yahoo.co.uk. Application forms are emailed out in April.

The Festival is organised and run by a committee of local volunteers and representatives of the Village Hall management committee. The current committee members are :-
